A MAN jailed for trying to start a riot is back behind bars after reversing a car onto a dual carriageway and leading police on a chase.

Jordan McGinley was jailed for three years in 2011 for starting a Facebook page that urged people in Dundee to "kill some daftys" during riots that gripped some English cities. He was released in January 2013.

But in February this year he was seen driving by police in Dundee despite not having a full licence. He reversed on to a dual carriageway, went round a roundabout the wrong way then drove off through the Fintry scheme.

McGinley, 21, of Scotscraig Road, Dundee, admitted driving without a full licence or insurance and driving dangerously, having failed to stop for police. He was jailed for four months.
