A MAN has denied sexually abusing three children at an Argyllshire nursery.

Mark Maclennan, 29, whose address was given as Bath, England, is accused of sexually abusing the two boys and a girl between August 2012 and May 2013.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in a nursery - which cannot be identified for legal reasons. He is accused of committing the offences when one child was aged between two and three, the second between three and four and the third between four and five. He is also accused of sexually assaulting a girl from the age of 12 to 15 and having indecent photographs of children.

Maclennan denied all the charges when he appeared in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday. A trial has been set for September.
