A MAN who killed a seagull by stoning it to death is facing jail.

John Stafford, 32, was with a friend at his home in Buckhaven, Fife, when he attacked the herring gull, kicking it and hitting it on the head with a rock.
Neighbours witnessed Stafford and another man, who has since died, batter the gull to death.
