A man has been arrested by police after a woman was allegedly raped in a graveyard over the weekend.
The 45-year-old woman was assaulted in the area of the graveyard at St Cuthbert's Church, by Lothian Road, Edinburgh, between 11pm on Saturday and 12.30am on Sunday.
A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault. He was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
