Man in court over double murder

A MAN denied murdering his wife and baby son at their home in Midlothian, when he appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh yesterday.

Garry Lockhart, 33, is accused of strangling his spouse, Janet, and suffocating his two-year-old son, Michael, with a pillow on December 28 last year at 12 South Chesters Lane, Bonnyrigg. A trial was set for September 8.
