A MAN who stabbed his ex-partner 31 times in front of her children has been jailed for almost seven years.
A judge yesterday told Gareth Kerr the attack on victim Gail McCann was "vicious and appalling".
Kerr, 45, carried out the attack just a week after his 19-year relationship with the mother-of-two ended.
Ms McCann has been left permanently scarred and unable to straighten her fingers or write properly.
