Motorists quizzed over man's murder

MORE than 500 people have been stopped and questioned during a major roadblock operation carried out by murder detectives.

Jamie Kerr, 34, was found dead in his tower block flat in the Knightswood area of Glasgow following a fire last Wednesday.

Officers returned to Lincoln Avenue to quiz people coming into the area.

Police said 510 cars were stopped and 170 questionnaires completed. It has led to a number of potential witnesses being identified.
