Police have launched a murder inquiry after the body of a 49-year-old man was found at a house in the Macmerry area of East Lothian.
Officers are treating the death of Colin Armstrong as murder and are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Greenmill Brae area of the village in the early hours.
Detective Inspector Grant Johnston, from Police Scotland said: "I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw a car, possibly a Honda Civic or similar, in the Macmerry or Tranent areas of East Lothian any time overnight."
