Two people have been charged and £4000 of drugs seized in separate raids.

Both finds were made on Tuesday in Buckie, Moray, after police were alerted by members of the public.

A 44-year-old man was charged in connection with the discovery of LSD, cannabis and amphetamine worth £3000 at a house.

Officers also searched another property where they discovered diazepam tablets worth £1000. A woman, 40, was charged.

Detective Sergeant William Nimmo said: "With the assistance of the community we have recovered significant quantities of controlled drugs."
