TWO men who killed a friend before dumping his naked body into a river have been given life sentences.
Stephen Crawford, 24, and Darren McDevitt, 20, yesterday returned to the High Court in Glasgow after being convicted of murdering Michael Herbison.
Mr Herbison was stabbed and shot with an air rifle during the vicious attack on August 29 last year. The 35-year-old's naked body was discovered the next day in the River Leven in Renton, West Dunbartonshire.
