Police are hunting two men who carried out a sex assault on a girl.
The teenager was approached by the pair who then attacked her in Burntisland, Fife, between 8.30pm and 10pm on June 25.
The incident, in Lochies Road, adjacent to the Sands Hotel, was reported to police on Tuesday and officers have since been conducting local inquiries to establish the full circumstances of this report.
There is njo description of the suspects available and so police are keen to speak to anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious.
In addition, anyone who remembers seeing the victim, who is described as slim with long blonde and pink hair and wearing black leggings, black crop top and a light coloured jacket, is also asked to contact police immediately.
Detective Inspector June Peebles said: "We are currently trying to determine exactly what has happened during this incident and would urge members of the public who can assist with our investigation to come forward.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or make an anonymous report through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
