The owner of a garage in Ratho, Edinburgh, discovered on Monday that around 300 porcelain dolls worth £3000 and signed football shirts, books and programmes were missing.
Police appealed for any witnesses to the break-in, in School Wynd, between October 7 and 14 and are appealing for any witnesses.
Meanwhile, officers in Aberdeen are investigating the theft of clothes and remote-controlled model aircraft from a house in Balmedie village.
It happened between 3.30pm on Friday and 4pm on Saturday.
Police said the model planes were worth a high four-figure sum and asked anyone with information to contact them.
