Inmates have filed thousands of grievances ranging from cells not being comfortable to the quality of prison-issue clothing
In total, 38,873 gripes were lodged by inmates in Scotland's 16 jails since 2010. Last year prison bosses received 7940 grievances. In 2011, chiefs at the Scottish Prison Service received 15,557 complaints and 15,376 the year before.
