A RACIST tore off a Muslim woman's veil as she left a supermarket.
Emiliano Sanchez, 59, yelled at Shirin Akter: "Why are you wearing this? This is not the Qur'an and is not allowed in this country." He then pulled off Ms Akter's niqab and asked a worker at the Lidl shop in Glasgow's Dennistoun: "Did you see that P***? I told her to take that thing off her head."
At Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday, the Spaniard was ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work after admitting harassing Miss Akter and acting in a racially aggravated manner.
