A FORMER nurse who faced flogging over the murder of a colleague in Saudi Arabia walked free from court despite racking up her third conviction in little over a year – after a sheriff told her "you don't have much of a record".
Lucille McLauchlan, formerly Lucille Ferrie, was sentenced to eight years and 500 lashes for her part in the murder of nurse Yvonne Gilford in 1996 but was pardoned in 1998. She denies a role in the killing.
