David Bell Bryson, 71, who was born in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, earlier confessed to killing Stanislave Mirchev and claimed he did so after the youngster tortured his dog.
It has been claimed that Bryson will plead guilty as part of a bargain plea to serve his sentence in a UK prison.
