Two men and two women appeared at Belfast Magistrates’ Court yesterday on charges which included controlling prostitution.
The court heard that the gang spent £50,000 advertising brothels in the Northern Ireland capital.

A Scots-led vice gang spent more than £50,000 advertising brothels in newspapers as part of an alleged UK-wide human trafficking and prostitution racket, a court was told.
