Sex attacker raped man in public

A SEX attacker enticed a 42-year-old man with learning difficulties away from an accident and emergency department and raped him.

The High Court in Glasgow heard that 33-year-old Paul McAllister assaulted his victim who is described as "naive and childlike".

The attack took place on December 20, last year, at a public area near to Cairnhill Road, Airdrie. The court heard McAllister persuaded his victim to leave Monk-lands Hospital, North Lanarkshire.
