Sex attacker’s £1000 win for rights breach

Hundreds of sex attackers could be in line for payouts after a man convicted of two attacks as a teenager won the right to remove his name from the sex offenders register.

The 31-year-old – identified only as Mr A – also won £1000 in compensation after successfully arguing that it breached his human rights for him to remain on the register for life.
