Stepfather killer found dead in jail

A man who knifed his "controlling" stepfather to death after a family feud boiled over has been found hanging in his cell.

Nathan Vaughan-Jones, 34, was found at Lewes prison in East Sussex at about 8.30pm on Friday and pronounced dead, the Prison Service said.

He was jailed for 11 years in March after he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 63-year-old Nigel Ross on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
