Three years in jail for suicide bomb threat

A WOULD-BE suicide bomber who caused chaos when he threatened to blow himself up – along with his father – has been jailed for three years.

When police raided Connor Ward's Aberdeenshire home in May they found an array of deadly chemicals together with recipes for making explosive devices. Neighbours had to be moved from their homes while Ward's flat in Water Lane, Banff, was thoroughly searched by bomb disposal experts.
