An ex-soldier serving life for the murder of a Bangladeshi waiter is seeking a review of the case in a bid to clear his name.
In 2008, Michael Ross, 33, was convicted of shooting Shamsuddin Mahmood at an Orkney restaurant, 14 years after the killing. The former Black Watch soldier lost a court appeal earlier this year.
