THE trial of a businessman accused of VAT frauds amounting to millions of pounds was interrupted when a woman, alleged to be an accomplice, walked free.
Jayne Ramzan, 40, had been accused of playing a part in evading payment of £3.2 million, which should have gone to HM Customs and Excise between February 2003 and July 2004.
The allegation centred on her role with Dundee-based Glam Entertainments.
