A 15-YEAR-OLD schoolboy left another pupil scarred for life after stabbing him twice in the face.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, slashed his victim after falling out with him during an illicit under-age drinking session.

Before pulling the knife from his waistband, the boy said: “Come outside and I’ll sort you out. Come outside and I’ll slash you.”

Perth Sheriff Court was told yesterday that the victim, who was also 15, had been left permanently disfigured as a result of the attack.

The attacker, who is from Perth, has been ordered to stay away from his victim and four other witnesses who saw the incident.

He admitted assaulting a 15-year-old boy at an address in the city in October by striking him twice to the face with a knife to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.

Fiscal depute Robbie Brown told the court: “The accused and a number of others aged 14 to 16 were consuming alcohol in a public place. They had then gone to this house to continue that.

“At 10.30 pm everyone was continuing to drink. The accused and the complainer began an argument and that escalated. The accused invited the complainer out for a fight.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis deferred sentence for the preparation of social background reports.

He is also to seek the advice of the Children’s Panel.
