A man has been arrested and is being held in custody in connection with a series of alleged armed robberies in Glasgow.

The first incident occurred at 6.05am on Wednesday November 23 at Drumby Service Station, Eastwoodmains Road, Clarkston.

A second robbery occurred at 4.20pm on Thursday March 9 at the Co-op store on Eaglesham Road, Clarkston.

The third incident is said to have occurred at around 4.40pm on the same date on Main Street, Busby.

A 36-year old man has been arrested.
