Man charged with attempting to murder woman in Templeton Woods
A man has been charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a woman in Dundee's Templeton Woods.
The 52-year-old woman was taken to the city's Ninewells Hospital with a serious head injury following the incident on Monday August 7.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Templeton Woods at around 1.10pm that day.
The woman remains in hospital.
Police said that 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Templeton Woods between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Monday.
They asked anyone with information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
