A man has been arrested over alleged drug and money laundering offences after a four year serious and organised crime investigation.
Police Scotland said the 46-year-old was arrested in Paisley, Renfrewshire, on Wednesday.
The extensive operation was into allegations of drug supplying and money laundering offences, officers said.
He is due to appear in Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Detective Superintendent Stephen Grant, from Police Scotland's Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit, said: "This week's activity marks the culmination of an extensive police operation targeting those engaging in serious and organised crime in the west of Scotland.
"Police Scotland will not tolerate this type of criminal behaviour, which can destroy communities, and will continue to focus on putting a stop to these activities.
"Anyone with information about serious and organised criminal activity in their area is urged to contact their local police station via 101. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence."
