A man's body has been found near a war memorial in North Lanarkshire.
Officers were called to the scene at Mulvey Crescent, in Airdrie, around 8.15am on Monday.
A post mortem has yet to take place and investigating police are currently treating the 48-year-old man's death as "unexplained".
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
