A MAN has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found at a property in Dundee.

Police were called to the address in Brown Constable Street just after 9.30am on Friday.

On Saturday, officers arrested a 21-year-old man as their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death continued.

They said on Monday a man had now been charged with murder. Formal identification of the dead man has yet to take place.

Detective Inspector Brian Geddes said: "I would like to again thank the local community for their understanding whilst we have been carrying out our investigations.

"Additional patrols have been carried out in the area by community officers to provide reassurance and assistance to local residents."
