Scottish Government statistics show there has been a 7% decline in the number of employees working in the further education sector since 2010 – more than any other area of the public sector.

1000 college jobs slashed in a year
COLLEGE staff have borne the lion’s share of job cuts in the public sector, with more than 1000 posts slashed in the past year, according to official figures.
