Approval given for school's extension

PLANS to extend a top private school in Glasgow have been recommended for approval.

The fee-paying Glasgow Academy, which submitted the proposals in May, applied for the demolition of nearby flats to make way for a four-storey extension which would include a library, conservatory, auditorium and food technology lab.
