Colleges' concern at speed of reform review

SCOTLAND'S colleges have voiced concerns about a major shake-up of the sector amid claims they have not been given enough time to respond to a review of the institutions.

The Scottish Government has proposed a new regional structure of colleges and a report by Professor Russel Griggs, chairman of the board of Dumfries and Galloway College, suggested it should be supported by regional boards of governance that would decide on strategic priorities and how they should be funded.
