CUTS to the teaching budgets of Scottish colleges have been "overstated" – but still amount to £73 million, according to the country's Education Secretary.
Michael Russell made the statement in written evidence to the Scottish Parliament's education committee, which meets today to question him on the issue.
"I would like to take this opportunity to correct some errors in previous evidence, where witnesses have overstated the extent of reductions," said Mr Russell.
