Education

THE Scottish Government has signalled its intention to press ahead with radical changes to the way universities and colleges are run.

The Post-16 Education Reform Bill contains few surprises, but will press home to all those in the further and higher education sectors that change is on the way.

In the Scottish Government's own words, the bill will "provide an underpinning legal basis" for aspects of the Scottish Government's ambitious programme of post-16 learning reform.
