Judy Cromarty is taking charge of East Park school in Glasgow's Maryhill, as the sector awaits the outcome of the Scottish Government's Doran Review into the education of children with additional support needs.
East Park, which caters mainly for pupils with complex and severe learning disabilities, is one of Scotland's seven grant-aided special schools, funded centrally by the Government.
