Nursery staff get science grounding

A DUNDEE nursery is claimimg to be the first to have its entire staff trained in science education.

Balgillo Nursery, in Broughty Ferry, and its sister nursery Balgillo Too, are putting staff through the training provided by Dundee Science Centre's Learning Institute (SLI).

The training will enable the staff to plan science and experiment-based sessions for pre-school children, including subjects such as body systems, biodiversity, electricity, waves and space.
