‘Only school uniforms, patriotism and parents can rescue our violent teens’

One of the Government’s top psychological advisers has called for a return to traditional values to stem the rising tide of domestic abuse by children against their parents and other adults.

Tommy MacKay, a professor of psychology at Strathclyde University and one of the country’s leading psychological authorities, spoke out as latest figures show a steep rise in violence by young people towards adults.
