Stress levels on the rise among teachers

STRESS levels among teachers are on the rise as a result of the roll-out of the controversial Curriculum for Excellence, according to a major survey.

Larry Flanagan, general secretary of the Educational Institute of Scotland teaching union, said the survey results confirmed the "deep-set impact" of workload pressures on teachers arising from the changes to the curriculum.
