A lawyer for one of the pupils at Inverkeithing High School, who made racist remarks about their PE teacher, had defended their actions as "trying to be witty".
It was the same reasoning offered by Bishopbriggs High School pupils who created a fake website about Mrs Ballinger when she taught there.
