The dolphins were were seen from the harbour in Ullapool in the early hours of Saturday and concerns were raised when it was feared they were heading towards shallow waters at the head of the loch where there was a risk of stranding.
A pod of 150 common dolphins has attracted sightseers and marine experts after being spotted in the Ullapool and Lochbroom area.
