Turbine plan gets the go-ahead

A 22-turbine wind farm plan has been approved by the Scottish Government.

It will be built on the border between South Lanarkshire and East Ayrshire in a project that could generate £2.7million for the community over the next 25 years.

Energy minister Fergus Ewing has granted planning consent for the Galawhistle green energy project between Muirkirk and Douglas.
