Call for homeopathy cuts ‘inhumane’

A leading doctor at Scotland’s homeopathic hospital has described calls to stop NHS funding for the complimentary therapy as “naive and inhumane”.

Dr Bob Leckridge, of the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital, spoke out after MPs on the Commons Science and Technology Committee concluded that no more public money should be given for homeopathy because there was no scientific proof that it worked.
