PEOPLE with eczema could find their condition is made worse by severe weather this winter, a charity has warned.

A survey from Allergy UK found cold weather is the biggest trigger for eczema, followed by house dust mites and pets.

And with extensive cold spells forecast over the coming months, the charity says the harsh conditions could have potentially distressing effects. Allergy UK has created a skin symptoms checker to mark Indoor Allergy Week, which runs from October 20 to 26.
