OPPOSITION parties have urged the Scottish Government to resolve the dispute over NHS pensions as Scots doctors threaten to go on strike in winter.
Thousands of hospital doctors are to be balloted by BMA Scotland in November on a fresh round of industrial action.
It comes just three months after medics across the UK went on strike for the first time in almost 40 years in a show of anger over the reforms, and would leave only emergency cover in place in hospitals for three days in December and January.
