Howson puts affairs in hands of guardians

Leading Scottish artist Peter Howson has applied for the appointment of guardians to deal with matters that he cannot cope with effectively because he has a form of autism.

Howson, renowned for his muscular figurative art work that previously featured looming hard-men and now expresses Christian themes, told The Herald last year that he was planning to appoint guardians to look after some of his personal and business affairs.
