Campaigners fighting a new hospital for Skye being built in Broadford rather than the island's capital Portree, are to petition the Scottish Parliament.
The final decision will be taken by ministers but members of the Save Portree Hospital Group, are challenging the decision taken unanimously by NHS Highland last week to recommend Broadford.
They will urge the Scottish Government to commission an independent clinical review of medical, health and social care needs in Skye & Lochalsh and produce a list of requirements that will determine how and where these services can best be delivered.
