Job fears as health board is warned to cut further

Fears of more job losses in the NHS have been raised after it emerged Scotland’s largest health board may have to cut spending by a further £10 million.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC)-- which employs 44,000 stafff -- is already trying to save £56.9m this year and has announced plans to slash 1200 posts including 670 nurses and midwives.
