Leukaemia girl's family launch appeal for bone marrow donor

THE family of a seven-year-old girl with leukaemia have launched an appeal to find a bone marrow donor to save her life.

Ayesha Siddiqui, from Glasgow, was diagnosed with the disease in April last year.

She is being treated on the same ward at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill, Glasgow, as three-year-old Ryan Ferguson, who received a similar transplant after his family launched a nationwide campaign for donors.
