Minorities less likely to get cancer

Ethnic minority groups in Scotland are less likely to get cancer than white Scots, data suggests.

The rate of cancer in Indian men in Scotland was 45.9% of that of white Scots, Edinburgh University researchers found.

Indian people had the lowest rates, followed by those of Chinese heritage. The rate among Chinese men was 57.6%, compared with white Scots.
