Judy Murray has revealed she will have to get through to the next week of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing if she is to be cheered on from the audience by her son Andy.

The former Wimbledon winner and his fellow tennis star brother Jamie have promised to come to watch her if she can stay in for one more round.

The 55-year-old is odds on favourite to be booted off the show this weekend.

But Murray said: "I have a big incentive to try and stay in this week because they've both said I have to stay in one more week and then they will, hopefully, have finished their commitments in Europe and be able to come and watch next weekend.

"So that's a big incentive for me to try and perform well and not look like I've got rigor mortis this week."

She confirmed what most viewers know already, that she is struggling to master the tango, adding that every time she tries to look passionately into the eyes of her professional partner Anton Du Beke, she bursts out laughing.

Judy confessed: "I get the giggles. That's the strange thing, because we have such a good laugh.

"He's got such a good sense of humour. And when he's coming towards me and very close, I just dissolve into giggles."
